Use of the site

These terms of use explain the rules for using Solitaire Grove. You may play our games and read our guides for personal, non-commercial use free of charge. The games are provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, and we do not guarantee that the site will be available at all times or that any particular game will remain unchanged.

Intellectual property

All games, card designs, text and code on this site are our own work or used under license. You may not copy, redistribute or republish site content or games without written permission, and you may not embed our games on another site in a way that presents them as your own.

Short quotations with attribution and a link back are fine - if you are unsure, ask us.

The card faces, card backs and court figures used in our games are original artwork created by us as scalable vector graphics. The rules of the games are traditional public-domain solitaire and patience rules; we make no claim to exclusive rights in the rules or mechanics themselves, only in our implementation, artwork and written explanations.

Trademarks

Solitaire Grove is an independent site. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft Corporation or any other game publisher, app or brand. Microsoft, Windows and Microsoft Solitaire Collection are trademarks of their respective owners; they appear on this site only as factual references, for example when describing the history of a game. All other product and company names mentioned are the trademarks of their respective holders and are used here for identification and description only.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it aggressively, reverse engineer it for the purpose of republishing it, or use it in violation of applicable law. Automated traffic that degrades the experience for other players may be blocked.

Advertising

The site is free to use and may be supported by advertising. Advertising partners may set cookies subject to their own terms - see our Privacy Policy for how to control them.
